  • That certainly brought back a few memories. I was born in Mill Road hospital, grew up in Fishguard Street and went to Queens Road school. I believe Paul McCartney's dad also lived in Fishguard Street when he was young.

  • That's boss lad! Great stuff. Love the pictures......bit like Belfast (surprise..not)

  • You truly have given "Liverpool 1965" an extra lease of life with a new heart.

Your song and photo's have added so much feeling to it.

  • Thank you Dave. I couldn't have done anything without that film. I thank you again for sharing it, and for giving me the permission to make use of it. This was something I just had to do.

  • hi cresta

i was born in 15 gregson st

    did you know it?

    cheers

    eric

  • Hi Eric,

yes, the area of the old Gregsons well, and of course "Greggies" pub. I lived just a stonesthrow away in Hughes Street.

  • Nice song. Like it. Is this yours or a cover? I don't recognise 1965 Liverpool. It looks like another world.

  • Thank you. The song is original. Liverpool in '65 was another world, but also a great place to grow up. Life was hard, but scousers are the best people in the world. They have a knack of making the best of everything instead of moaning.
