I also have a picture of me and my brothers taken in the department store, on the same seat in London road for christmas, I lived in Warburton street and my grandas family were from Gregson St
That certainly brought back a few memories. I was born in Mill Road hospital, grew up in Fishguard Street and went to Queens Road school. I believe Paul McCartney's dad also lived in Fishguard Street when he was young.
I was also born in Mill road ozzie and lived off Kenny road. Great memories of roaming far and wide around those streets as kid. Life was tough, but we were free.
Thank you Dave. I couldn't have done anything without that film. I thank you again for sharing it, and for giving me the permission to make use of it. This was something I just had to do.
Thank you. The song is original. Liverpool in '65 was another world, but also a great place to grow up. Life was hard, but scousers are the best people in the world. They have a knack of making the best of everything instead of moaning.

I visited Liverpool twice in 2001 & 2008 as a part of the families trip to England
and found the people friendly to us Yanks .

Margaret Street Baths is on the left side ,, used to go there as a Kid... happy days..
Also recognise the Mecca bingo (olympia) next to the grafton rooms on west derby road at 1:55

Very nice, atmospheric, nostalgic flashback, Tom! It explains a lot about the sort of music you make and where it comes from.
All the best for 2008 and....Rock On!

Nice song. Like it. Is this yours or a cover? I don't recognise 1965 Liverpool. It looks like another world.
