I am considering getting this game, but have a question first. Say you are on the 5th level and you need to get back to town. Does the game have a way to teleport you back to town & then back to the level you were on? I don't want to be walking back through all those completed levels just to get to town & back again everytime I need to rest or buy more supplies.

@KrZyLimE There is an item you can buy called the Warp Wire which instantly transports you back to town.

You normally wouldn't be able to get back to the floor you left after going back to the town, the only exceptions are if you were on the first floor of some Stratum, at which you would appear in front of the warp point

I cant believe I like this game, its premise is stupid, grueling and long with no story, difficult as hell, and you have to draw your own maps (which sounds dumb at first but kinda fun when you do it), I know it sounds horrible, but its strangely addicting, iv been playing it for days and cant stop and I have no clue why.

This game is so hard I can't even beat the very first mission. It's like they expect you to go back to town six times because the enemies are way too overleveled.

I saw videos of this game, and at first I was turned off because it doesn't show the characters fighting. But I decided to give it a try, and it's actually much better than I though. It's low on graphics, but big on gameplay, and I love the skills system =)

Well after much debate I went ahead and bought the game, and I gotta say I'm glad I did. I wish the bosses were just a smidge easier, but I other than that I'm really enjoying it. The same cannot be said for the dark spire. That game is so brutally difficult it makes Etrian Odyssey look like........some really easy RPG.

Lv70 is the cap but if you retier the lv70 and tran them back up thay gan one lv so if you do it a lot of times you can have a lv99

this is true, but for me, having completed all the final fantasy from 1 to 12 (including tactics and spin-off), I would find much wrong with this view, a bit like the old Dragon Quest, I Just in ... understand?

This game looks really cool, but I'm a bit of an RPG noob (especially when it comes to old-school titles) so I fear this game will be too much of a challenge for me and I'll waste my money. I'm in a serious debate over weather or not to buy this.

yeah, its definitely not for everyone. you would need the patience of a lethargic tortoise to beat this game if harcore rpg's aren't your thing.

I think I'm going to buy it. It really looks friggin' sweet and I really have no problem with level grinding. And also, I shouldn't have really said I'm an RPG noob, but I most definitely am a turn-based noob, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure everything else. I'm still going to buy RuneFactory first though. Great video by the way, well done chap.
