Wonderful....I can still hear the Indian roots in voice and music. I once read a book where it was told, that the Roma started their long journey after they lost a brother war in Kshetriya. Also in the religion you find a perfect mix of christian, gnostic, indian, egyptian influence...or maybe the other way round :-)
@MsRedStar10 she is singing about a gypsy party and she is dancing and telling other's to come and dance also ..and then about a young guy who was there that she liked but could not dance with him or say any to him cause it would have been wrong or direspectful
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that homeland of all European gypsies was somewhere around India. Actually, they are one part of Indian tribes that started migrating thousends of years ago, cause of some wars, I belive.
Yes, Romani/Roma people are originally from Northwest India. They were acctually kicked out from their homeland by another tribe who thought they were superior. Dr. Ian Hancock is a linguist, Romani scholar, and political advocate for the Romani people. Good place to start for anybody who wants to learn more.

@CIKMASTER I think she is a Muslim but I am not sure. Many Roma people in Balkans converted to Islam after Turks occupied the region for centuries. Almost all of them have Turkish names and speak Turkish as well. That's what I know and observed when I travelled in Macedonia and other Balkan countries. Cheers. Metin
@MetinBulutTRNZ She speaks Turkish, too. She has some Turkish songs in her previous recordings. She held also concerts in Istanbul and other cities of Turkey. She is well known among Turkish immigrants who came from Macedonia to Turkey. Regards

I vould like to hear what you think about Finnish gipsy songs! We have an amazing singer Anneli Sari, who sings finnish gipsy-style.
I like also Russian gipsy songs.

Muro chavo is no anthem? I hear that there was another congress in Prague after 2000 and a writing for Rromanes was established
