@Idazmi7 they changed his appearence alot over the course of the games. when hes called robotnik, and when hes called eggman, he changes slightly (sometimes drastically) in pretty much every game, tv series, and comic series. and gerald robotnik is robotniks grandfather (and eggmans grandfather BECAUSE THEYRE THE SAME CHARACTER) and this show was made before the U.S. called him eggman, so nothing was named "egg-[insert cheesy robot name here] " yet. you can look it all up, im not making this up.

@Idazmi7 eggman is gerald robotniks grandson. and the robotnik in this series is gerald robotnik's grandson (although i dont think that was established until after this series was cancelled. could be wrong about that though). but they are the same person. robotnik/eggman did not die (unless he did during this series? the video games and the tv shows arent always continuous with each other). but gerald robotnik, however, did die. his relatives were robotnik/eggman and Maria.

@TheOtherHolly The official title of the show is Sonic the Hedgehog. That's it. SatAM stands for Saturday morning because it aired on ABC during Saturday mornings. SatAM is used to differentiate this series from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (will be uploaded soonish. ;O) which did not air during Saturday mornings and was syndicated instead.
