Ok some one asked me a question on here and I don't know how to respond directly to you. Yeah I bought a refurbished and it was ok. First one I got the battery didn't fit, the next one I got the speaker function button didn't work and I had strange ringtones that I guess were from a previous user. But everything else worked. It's an old phone so the lot to choose from isn't very large. Yeah but you gotta love the slide up feature. This is something I miss in phones:)

Yeah I'm really stuck with verizon, and its not that i think they are a bad company. It's that they don't have a great selection of phones. At least they have the iphone now but I don't like touch screen, soo it's not for me . Yeah and I don't like the large key pads either, where it's the full alphabet and you have to use two hand, example, droid. I only like phones with the traditional key pad but now most of those are flip phones not sliders. I have to have the slider, I hate flipping.

@mgmurphey You can. The swivel is easier for some people I suppose, but as far as I can remember there are buttons underneath it. Your fingers might slip a bit when pressing since the wheel is somewhat sensitive.

@TheTekkenTech1 I think it has a 1.3 megapixel camera. And the camcorder is decent. And the call quality is pretty average. You could probably get a better phone by now though. I uploaded this video two years ago, so there's bound to be something more worth your while.

Hmmm...well it depends. If you want a lot of music on your phone then it might be a good idea to get the kit. If you want like 7 or 8 songs then you don't need an SD card. You could use the phones actual memory, but to do this you would need a Bluetooth chip on your computer.

It doesn't come with a USB cord, but cord's for phones are usually pretty cheap and you can put music on this phone if you do have any type of computer.

Great review man, I just bought one yesterday. Question though. For the music, I have an SD card, the ones that would fit in the phone, but does it come with the cord necessary to add music from my computer to my phone. Also, does it come with headphones? The 2mm ones?

Unfortunately it does not. You would have to purchase the VCast music kit which comes with everything you would need (cord, bluetooth headphones, etc.).

1. No it does not scratch easily. If you drop it on rocks or gravel then maybe lol

2. Texting is real easy on this phone. But if your a hardcore, text all the time type person, I would recommend the EnV2.

Thanks for the review, I'm definitely going to get this phone once my plan expires...which is pretty soon. Compared to some of the other good-looking and sleek phones from Verizon, this is actually somewhat cheap. It will be my first NICE phone, I always get the crappy flip phones with the antennas that come free, haha.

Yes you can put mp3 or WMV files on the phone. Two ways to transfer would be to 1. Buy a USB cord and microSD (The phone comes with about 60MBs for Apps) or 2. Use a Bluetooth file transfer program if you computer has a Bluetooth chip. Most Macs have them built in, if you don't have a Bluetooth chip you can always buy an adapter.

Or if your computer has a memory card reader installed, you can use the microSD (comes with an adapter) and stick it in there, no cable needed! But you have to format the card 1st before doin anythin, which can be done on the phone itself. And i hope u meant WMA not WMV

You can take either 30 seconds of video or an hours worth, your choice. I am still very happy with the phone, no problems with it whatsoever. I'm trying to make a review vid sometime this week.

Good Review. I was thinking of getting this phone and I had a few questions. Did you mean that you can transfer music with bluetooth on a Mac? And also can you change the color of the trace motion light when you are using it like you can when somebody calls?

Yes, since Bluetooth is on Mac, I can just drag and drop mp3's into the phone. Sadly you cannot change the trace motion light color, it stays red. It only uses different colors when you get an incoming call. lol It would be interesting to see blue chocolate.

No, that has never happened to me. The slider is more solid than the previous model. And yes, the phone is extremely comfortable, very smooth.

If you have a Bluetooth chip in your computer you simply set it up by running the exchange file program, then you can put the music into the folder "My Sounds", kind of complicated, but I am hoping to make it into a instructional video soon.

It depends, if you have a bluetooth chip installed there would be some type of program on your computer that uses it. If you have a Mac, you would see a symbol in the top right corner of the Finder bar, if you have Windows, try searching it in My Computer.
