Shame, this was the pivoting factor, whether the iPhone can run PDFs or not.

If not it's just not worth the investment for me. I don't trust those 3 year contracts, and 800$ out of the box is just insane unless the machine is absolutely perfect (which, as we've just seen, it isn't).

What does this mean "You cannot store PDF files on the iPhone" ?!? For what an iPhone when it's even not possible to store PDF files ?!?. When I see more and more the impossible can not do of an iPhone, I can not understand why people buy it. My Andorid is far superior.

After testing a few PDF apps for the Iphone, I found out that the "PDF Expert" app is the best, mostly for his search capabilities, Its $4.99 in the apple store and I think it's been jailbroken code so you can get it for free. I highly recommend it.

There's also the Aji Reader that comes in at .99. We tried to fill in the gaps that were missing from other readers.

You most certain CAN store PDFs on your iphone, with the 99 cents PDFReader Pro app. Its a true PDF reader, too, not a hack. It is missing a few features, but hopefully they will get added in the future.

Apart from iPhone, I supposed I'd recommend Atom Life. However, I am considering getting the HTC Touch Diamond. iPhone is coming to Singapore, and there is only so many posers this small country can take. I do not wish to be seen using the same phone (iPhone) as with the rest of the world.

hi, i downgraded 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 then jailbreak- BDS Subsystem-OpenSSH. I SSH my ipod to add PDF files. But i cant see the PDF folder in Root media. Plz help me. on the root media vera folder it is showing " ? " and i cont see PDF folder but i can see DCIM, Download, iTunes..., AppSnap, com.app..., Disk but not PDF folder???

/var/root/media. If it's not there, you have to create it. Works with 1.1.3 too.
