Well ive played several classes in both bg:s and arena(mainly 2s and 3s) such as paladin, hunter, mage and warlock and not while they have been flavour of the month either. If you have good gear and stick to some basic tactic you shouldn´t have to much problem doing well.

There will(should) allways be counters that eat you if they got a clue though.

@combatwombatwow U need some tacts with mage dough, the mainly is ofc to freeze them when they come close to you but in lvl 80 do u acully need some skills with hunter and if u dont wanna be noob with warlock u need some skill with that class to (noob with warlock = mass fear) i just told, hunter is pretty easy to kill if they nt is really good at pvp, and that is mages to.

prot pally's are only good vs melee classes, you'll get kited like fuck when you're up against "GOOD" frost mages or hunters.

Note the 'GOOD' there, most mages suck major cock and only whine at how hard they're getting owned by melee classes.

1. Yes in good gear or with use of wings, bg zerker, raidbuffs etc you can get very high. 10k+ is doable for sure.

2. AS scale with both spellpower and str(ap). Thats why both holy paladins in prot spec and protributers can hit hard with it.
