i don't believe she is lip syncing. The sound travels after she sings a note so it looks like she is mouthing other words before the sound gets to us to hear. It's always liket his in stadiums, etc whenever someone is speaking on a mic.

also when lip sinc you need to know what to mime with your lips...so a a prompter is no evidence for being a live singer.....i think it is playback, it sounds exactly like the CD version. and if u look closely at the end og the song i believe you can guess she is miming.

hello @mensalicious ! you should read about her life, her struggles, reading her lyrics and you'll admire her in the following second... I think she is one of the best musicians ever. She writes songs that make you think, and not silly things repeating verses on and on.... Also she sings better live than the cd, and that makes that u can't get enough of her shows!! I admire her so much!
Alanis is beautiful. CTV should have released their version of this performance long, long ago. It is far too precious to hoard. Think about it.

OK, I'm going to check with my nephew who was on camera for the whole shebang.
I saw the Stones at BC Place and there were cameras, and they were definitely not lip synching. Why do you..daveytrain... think so?
