  • Columbus' Louis Sullivan-designed bank is in the background. Parts of the building could use some careful restoration but much of the original building is intact and very beautiful. This is one of only a few Louis Sullivan "jewel box" banks remaining.

    Louis Sullivan was Frank Lloyd Wright's "beloved master", known as the "father of the skyscraper" in downtown Chicago because he was one of the first to build steel-framed buildings capable of great height. He and Wright where great innovators.
