Yep its the law alright, the officer will DO YOU for 10-15 over on the hwy with no one around and then he will continue to take off to 20 - 30 over the limit on the same stretch of road to quickly get back in position for the next poor bugger! Makes perfect sense.

It doesn't matter how good your radar detector is. If the radar is off then you don't detect it. When you come around the corner, bamn, they flip it on and your caught.

He needs something that paints a picture of your vehicle, with you in it.
Dash Cameras on the police cars is usually the only way. Even this can be defeated though depending on the circumstances at which you are caught.

@Kartkid024 What you don't understand is this can only work under the right conditions and you have to be very accurate with it. Trust me I have a uncle that is a cop. The truth is if you drive smart and use a rabbit your radar detector will save you every time.

@fourballrunner The way radar detectors work... Is by capturing the signal that bounces off of other cars, the road, and other shit usually a decent distance before the trooper is in range. My 9500i has detected these radar trails over a mile away.

Instant on or otherwise known as RF hold and get you with in a second if your hit directly but if you arent the lead car you will get an alert before his beam hits you
