But I dont think that classical music and this song are very different, it will be easier to start with classical music after youve learned to play this kind of music than when you've started learning popsongs offcourse!

It's funny how a song can bring people to tears, knowing that times they remember are now long gone. like how their carefree lives are now replaced with newer, more complicated things. That the times spent playing games, making good memories are now replaced with bad ones. Its funny how music like this can make a person remember so much fond memories of their childhood years. God, i miss those years, every time i hear an older FF song, i start to shed tears and wish those simplistic times back.

All the emotion and inspiration of a finely crafted film or play. 3. The epic length of a great novel, which means everything grows on you over time allowing stronger connections with the charcters. 4. The satisfaction of knowing that YOU are in control, And 5. i don't believe there is anything in this life that could ever compare to the way i felt about the ps1 final fantasy games. I've been in a relationship for 4 years and I believe I've expereienced true love, but there is something that touches even deeper in the soul when I think back on squaresoft masterpieces. The franchise has obviously fallen today, but melodies of life can succor 'round and grow deep in our hearts, as long as we remember.... Rest in Peace, Final Fantasy IX.

I don't mean to make this a flame comment, but the more generations of games go along, I notice it's so rare that games like these force such strong emotions on us...games like FFIX would be considered a bad game because it's "boring". There's so much instant gratification that the gaming community wants now and it's all about "graphics, graphics, graphics". @Laputaman111 Sight reading and playing at the same time can be difficult, but you could learn how to read the sheet, allbeit slowly, with just a few lessons, you'll get quicker with time. Stick with it, man, you'll get it in the end.

i played piano for only 3 months when i learned Melodies of Life with Synthesia, in like 2 months i could play it without mistakes :p

its very possible,i dont see how a person could teach more then playing the notes, listening to the original piano version already makes you know how exactly it has to be played :P just practice^^

I love this song so much. ..I guess it's kind of a sad story to tell, but I used to manage a small restaurant and one of my employees came in one day, and we started talking Final Fantasy. He mentioned he loved this song, and so did I. Later, I found out he committed suicide. I was heartbroken. He was such a smiling, happy guy. I didn't understand how it could be. Now, every time I think of this song, I remember him. Thanks for the lovely tribute. <3
