They are hard to ride because the piston is the size of a 32 OZ Beer can! Guys I race B class MX and am 41 years old..Look at my channel..I can ride a dam dirt bike. Don't take it personnel. I am faster on a 125 than a 500! Its just a matter of mass and HP. Now if I was goin dune'n...Serve me up some Five Hunny! Any other time...I will pass.

they're hard to tide because people are scared of them, its that simple nobodies gonna admit it, i've rode for my whole life too and you and i both know that your gonna do better on a bike your more comfortable on its that simple, and a guy with some brass balls thats willing to ring a 500's neck will beat anything anytime on track/trail/dunes/straight line. PERIOD, i personally did the best on my yz250, i was a little underwhelmed with my change to 450's.

just cause you cant ride3 them doesn't make them hard to ride... i personally ride a kx250, and have ridden 2 cr500's more then once. if you learn throttle control they are an amazingly fast bike

Because it was a vintage day Jonathan Beasley had the jumps rounded off, so they weren't that doable. This is my friend racing one of my 85 CR500s and he's getting better everytime he rides it, I'm pretty proud of him so far. Still have a lot of tuning to do on it though.
