I am doing a PhD and if, for example, I knew from my research that the future of even one person, let alone entire human kind, depended on making people believe I am a robot, then I would make sure I say, publish and communicate this directly and without ambiguity (i.e using "I AM A ROBOT", "BELEIVE I AM ROBOT", "jabedin1 IS A ROBOT" etc. etc.) throghout my research life. Don't you think those born in a muslim family are muslims, those born in hindus are hindus...so on. Do you know if your forefathers were following islam? Or were they christian, or hindu or jew? I bow down my head whenever I see a mosque, a temple, a church or whatsoever. Its because I respect the faith of the millions following the path taught to them. However, I have my own philosophy about God, Universe and existence. So I do not believe that simply following a religion gets you to salvation.

Have you read Keith Moore's book? It was released the same year as this speech. In it be briefly mentions the embryonic development as described in the Quran. However he also writes about other cultural beliefs, so he knew full well there was nothing new in the Quran.
So why did he say the info could ONLY have come for Allah? I'm not certain, but I would guess he was paid to do it.

@TheRationalizer Thats a matter of faith..Islam is not a piece of cake to follow..Many people who realize the truth, are hesitant to convert to Islam since then they might have to abstain from lying, cheating, fornication, alcohol, drugs etc..
Its only after persistent studying and introspection that a person converts..And when he was asked 10 years later about it, he said honestly that he did not pursue studying the Quran and its been a long time..

1: He said he didn't know how Muhammad could have know this information because nobody knew it, yet in his own book released the same year he details very similar beliefs by other cultures prior to Muhammad's birth - therefore he DID know how Muhammad could have known.
2: He did not become a Muslim, because he knew how Muhammad could have known.

@TheRationalizer peace be upon you, hey mate, just read your comment i would just like to clarify that brother zakir naik is actually talking about the scientific facts that are relevant to the quran and not the belief in Allah, the most high. Muslims have always said that Islam is the latest revelation of the torah and bible etc. so the beliefs are almost the same but the science in the quran is something that the prophet muhammed, peace be upon him, could not have known. take care.

Islam gives women half the inheritance of men, half the credibility as a witness, and the right to be slapped by her husband, she is also under duress to give him sex whenever he wants.
Islam gave women MORE rights, but not EQUAL rights.
