@SuperMegaELF I'm not aware of specifics, but he posted some comments about Korea during his trainee days on Myspace that resurfaced in 2009. People grew angry, and no fans rose up to support Jay. He made those comments back when he had to move from America to Korea and was having a tough time adjusting. He later announced that he would be leaving 2PM, and there were contracts signed over this whole issue. Now, 2PM is leaderless, but both parties are doing well for themselves.

Come on, his FORCED to terminate his contract and not by himself, he only knows it when the contract is terminated and staff in JYPE called to Seattle and told him about it when he didn't know. And the 2PM members is asked if they agree to terminate Jay's contract, they all agreed but only Junho cried and not the other members... Im not a hater, I still like 2PM even though what had happen... They are a talented group and so is Jay who is a solo now.I only can give my blessings to Jay and 2PM..

I think every member is really sad. it is only 373 days after they debut as a group and it was the last performance. every one is sad not only the member. wooyoung even fainted at the airport when Jay left. I think that Jay as a solo artist will be the best for both 2PM n Jay. Now all of them shine brightly and have their own career. 2PM IS FOREVER 7!

But then Jay's company argued back and asked JYP something like "What did Jaebom do that was so bad, why don't you go ahead and say what he did?". But he didn't, which makes people think if JYP only said that to get rid of Jay when he already was away from the group. Personally I think it was a strategy to get rid of Jay by JYP.

Come on, his FORCED to terminate his contract and not by himself, he only knows it when the contract is terminated and staff in JYPE called to Seattle and told him about it when he didn't know. And the 2PM members is asked if they agree to terminate Jay's contract, they all agreed but only Junho cried and not the other members... Im not a hater, I still like 2PM even though what had happen... They are a talented group and so is Jay who is a solo now.I only can give my blessings to Jay and 2PM..

I'm happy for Jay, because he was able to come back and I'm also happy for 2PM but this video hurts. It really hurts because I was since their show hot blood a fan of them. I don't know whole of the controversy but...I heard some anti fan digging up Jay's Myspace old post...but I'm not sure about this..Jay left Korea in August 2009...you can search his leaving Korea fancam..JYP really hope Jay change his mind and came back to 2PM..but maybe Jay doesn't wanted 2PM has more antis..so he decided to leave them and never comeback.JYP has permenantly terminated Jay's contract in 2010.Now he's coming back to Korea..he is now known as JAY PARK.

I think every member is really sad. it is only 373 days after they debut as a group and it was the last performance. every one is sad not only the member. wooyoung even fainted at the airport when Jay left. I think that Jay as a solo artist will be the best for both 2PM n Jay. Now all of them shine brightly and have their own career. 2PM IS FOREVER 7!

@auesr After he left Korea after making that comment, it was supposed to be a "break" from 2PM. But they released a statement a few months after that incident and said that Jay confessed that he did something that may ruin 2PM/JYPE's reputation so they terminated his contract off. (continue)

@auesr JYP released an official statement after a few months, around when Jay joined Sidus and mentioned again about that thing that Jay apparently "did". But then Jay's company argued back and asked JYP something like "What did Jaebom do that was so bad, why don't you go ahead and say what he did?". But he didn't, which makes people think if JYP only said that to get rid of Jay when he already was away from the group. Personally I think it was a strategy to get rid of Jay by JYP.
