Have you Tried the Wii Zapper Gun Yet?

I bought th zapper yesterday and house of the dead overkill it was the shit! I want to buy the conduit and yeah... but i think i prefer i one handed pistol than the wii zapper it kinda gets in the way of my wrist with th plastic of the back where you put the nunchuck.

The only problem I have with the zapper is that the trigger is in the front, I know that you can map the z button as trigger in some games, it doesn't have that gun feel

The wii controller, if you think it works good, will work well with any plastic shell you put it into, and its just you that think the product is worth the money. and to all you who say, "it works so well" it really dosent work at all. its your wiimote doijng all the work

yeah, maybe, but the wii guns are the easiest to use. it may not do any of the work, but it makes it feel good. i mean if you try gun controllers (not wii guns) e.g. the g-con, it`s hard to calibrate. i tried playing time crisis with it, but i couldn`t get it right, but the wii gun games are already calibrated

yes but there are no actual "wii guns" just wiimotes in a plastic shell. Ingenious and a great controller to start with but i was just saying there really is no "wii gun", you can hold the controllers however you want

but if you try to hold the wii remote like a gun, you might drop it. that`s why it`s best to get the wii guns (or in your case, wii remote gun-shaped holders)

GhostSquad was ok, got through it in a few hours, didn't have the same lasting gameplay that HOTD Overkill had, and the in-game dialogue was so bad it was epic lolz funny.

I got told to avoid The Conduit, is it really that bad?

Conduit's okay. Graphics are slightly better than average wii games but the online is kind of stupid and gets old really fast. The storyline only lasts 4 hours or so and it's not that great. You don't really develop that connection with the characters like in Zelda games, etc. Still, it's an okay game and fun if you don't mind a sucky campaign and an okay online.

Thanks for the headsup, it's what I kinda expected after all the hype and then reading the reviews was a big let down. I'll wait till Conduit's in the bargain bin and keep waiting for a decent SP/MP FPS for the Wii.

Besides I got back into playing Risen3d (jDoom) on PC and sampling the new & old Wads for it. Still sheer Retro FPS bliss!

The nyko perfect shot is way better because it is so easy to setup, light weight, and IS ACTUALLY SHAPED LIKE A GUN. The problem with the zapper is it feel's weird to old school gamers like me. You should get the zapper if your a casual gamer, but if you are an old school gamer i highly recommend this with the House of the dead 2 and 3 rerun for wii
