Hi. Thanks for the video. Could you make a video on how to strike a bjj guy, you know the ones with their stance backwards, and how to avoid being clinched by them. Thanks.
@hugoboss1983 It is almost impossible to stop the clinch of a good Jiu Jitsu guy with striking alone. The best thing you can do is learn to use the clinch yourself. :)
umm if you try that, then the jiu jitsu guy will grab your ankles, kick your hips, and youll fall over. search for the double ankle sweep if you dont believe me
can you make a video showing how to ground and pound from when you are standing up controlling both ankles? I am a wrestler and I always get to that position but I have trouble with getting past the upkicks. - thanks for the videos, really helpful
@k3nd4lll dude, even if u dont get hit with an upkick and ur fighting a guy whos really skilled in jiujitsu and you try to ground and pound while trying to control him your getting taken down fersure and you'll end up in an even worse position possibly even you getting ground and pounded if you have a weak guard so i think thats a bad idea
@TheHawthorneboy Nah I learned a lot since I posted that, u gotta stagger ur feet just a little to avoid the sweep. Ufc fighter Melvin Guillard showed me alot of techniqes to safely ground and pound from that position.
