This was originally recorded by a singer named Billy Lawrence. It had a somewhat slower tempo and the choral part(with the kids) was sung in a foreign language.

I have a great memory of going to the Kingdom Hall that i attended during my childhood, to meet with others from our congregation to clean it; someone would hook up the microphone system, and i would sing this song from the stage. I was rather young then. I've never been embarrased to admit that i enjoy this song, like others claim they do.... Why? It's nifty!

Yes, I remember this song.

In May 1973, my father died of a heart attack. I learned of his death while listing to this song on the radio. I was 13 years old at the time. I always think of my dad when I hear this song. Thanks.
