  • do you not get EAS'd for a severe t'storm warning??

  • I believe he only gets it for Tornado warnings.

  • June 8th sucked, it was my church community camp and I was afarid of my hometown being destroyed 100%

  • This happens all the time in New England.

  • hey april 11th is my birthday! :]

  • lol, hey mine too!

    xD

  • whio seems more "hip" then tv2, however tv 2 doplar in this video seems better then whio's radar

  • I was driving in this into Indiana that night. A truck flipped on I-70 and had the interstate completely shutdown...yeshhhhh.

  • Oops, I meant the guy on channel 2 is boring.

  • Carl has been doing weather in Dayton for around 30 years... My thoughts come as the younger and middle age people watch channel 7 and the much older people watch channel 2. Either way, I have met all the meteorologists in Dayton and all I can say is Dayton has the best overall out of anywhere.

  • I think I'd probably watch channel 7 instead of 2. That guy on 7 bored me.

  • at :10, the weather guy makes a fart noise with his hands...

I love the WDTN weather alert open!

  • hahaha. Just noticed that.

  • We had 4 tornadoes out in the IND County Warning Area that day. One was an EF2, in Hamilton County, just north of Indy. The other 3 were EF1s. Two were in Hendricks county, which is where I live. I spotted the intial wall cloud on the second one of them when I was mobile, and I also had a 58 mph wind gust back at my house. There was some golfball sized hail and a couple 80+mph gusts, also.

  • I used to live in the Dayton area, grew up there actually ... Carl Nichols is by far the market leader

  • Thanks. I will have some more video from Thursday night on here once my work schedule lets up some.

  • Carl Nichols is da man! I dont live there but he seems like a very good meteroligist.

  • Were there any tornado warnings with this?

  • Yes, Part 3 of 3 will show a Tornado Warning that was issued in the Cincinnati market for Brown County around 9:10PM, I have not heard of a tornado reported from that storm.

It was a little funny because this line came out of nowhere. All of the forecasters were saying we were not going to get much of anything... Which was true because the line in the West fell apart as it moved thru the Valley. Still had some wind though.
