@fmaloverinuyasha14 One thing that helps my spikyness is making sure it's cut short enough through the crown. I buy B&B products either at CVS, Target, or through Amazon. But there are many salons that carry their products, as well. Check the salons in the mall. For cheaper options, try Garnier Fructis Body Boost Spray. But I haven't found a styling cream I love as much as B&B. Good luck!!
@MsCallyente My hair is still short. It's actually a little shorter now than in the video (like Emma Watson's pixie hair). I have had a pixie cut three times. The first two times it took about a year to really grow it out, with a trim here and there to shape it. The trick to growing it out is to not dwell in the desired length, but have fun in the in between stages (like get a stacked bob when it gets too shaggy in the back).

@Mslector My hair is very fine, and the styling creme does not weigh it down. I suggest buying a travel or smaller size at Target to try it out first. But I only find that it makes my hair easier to style because it gives my fine/thin hair some texture. I've also seen a styling creme gel by MOP that I've been wanting to try. You could see if that works for you, too.

what shape is your face? i love this cut and i want it, but i am an oval faced/ oblong shape, i think you are oval, but it would be costly on me if i was wrong XD
@robertamaria44 I actually have very fine, wavy hair. The short cut helps, but I still have to work to get it to appear straight and thick. When I use less product, I get a limp mess. Ha! I am just glad I found Bumble and Bumble. They totally save the day.
I cut my hair in a pixie about a year and a half ago and I love it!!!! But i have always had soooo much troble styling it!! So thank u this helped alot!!!!!!!!!
@curlyperm1 I have very fine hair. And I prefer the pixie cut for that reason. My hair is also not very thick. When my hair is long, it gets stringy and a little wavy during the day. It's hard to get good body and lift when my hair is long. But short, it's perfect. I can use the right products to get texture, so that the fine quality of my hair doesn't even matter. And the natural wave can be worked with easily. Best products for texture: Bumble & Bumble Styling Creme, Schwarzkopf Dust It.
@lyndsaywjohnson That is the problem I have with my long hair. It is very stringy and just never looks good. I have been trying to decide if it is just time to give up on long hair. Your cut looks very fun and easy. Maybe the pixie is the answer to my hair woes.
@hpman10 I've had short hair on and off since college (so throughout the last 10 years I've cut it and grown it out again a few times). But now it's short to stay. I love it. This time around, it's been short for almost a year.
@lyndsaywjohnson Would you consider having the back clipper cut? It would be a little shorter but I think it would look good. It would be a nice surprise for your husband since he likes short hair.
@hpman10 Not sure if I would be brave enough to go clipper short. :) But my stylist has been cutting it very short, and she does a great job with her razor (not electric, but she cuts with a straight razor and then uses the clippers to clean up my neck once she's done, and the regular shears to trim around my ears).
