I don't really think Bush is evil, like some people say. He just seems like a regular guy, and I don't think he was being insincere when complementing the Pope. He's not fit for office, but he's not evil.

I've googled about this, and from one of the comments that I've read posted on the hotair/com website about Bush's remark to the Pope, this struck me:

President Bush perfectly exemplifies what I'm beginning to think about many, if not most Americans. Shallow and unsophisticated. I have no problems with simplicity, but if there is nothing else with it, then that becomes a worry.
