I wonder why no one talks about supporting peoples of other nations through the UN. Certainly some nations will have special relationships with other nations and may help them out solely, but with the discussions of Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan, why don't many Americans acknowledge the need for shouldering these responsbilities with other powerful nations?

These "conservatives" seem to want to rush into war. What a change from WW2 when a Democrat had to drag our nation to help England!

It upsets me that the republicans keep going back to this bs excuse about being in iraq to free the people- what about all the oppressed people of the Africa and south American countries? What about the genocides on those countries; not to mention Asian countries, and dont forget Israel oppressing Palestine. What about the spy ship liberty? What happened to that? Whats really going on???? It upsets me that people cant just simply use their brain and not be caught up in the propaganda.

Conclusions:

1. Conservatism has nothing to do with Christianity as it has never been tried in USA: Jesus (neither Muhammad pbuh) would never recommend to slave African inhabitants neither would send army to other nations to give women right to vote..

Conservatism is about not being open-minded.

2. Some people really believe that war is the only way to change cultures? What about charity, volunteering and good example??
