What's up with holding aggro with... swipe? I grinned a lot. You're loosing aggro way to often as you just swipe for 452 damage. Which will never compensate for a single target mangle, and just tab your way through. I know you'd probably are level 70, and it's on the PTR - or just when it came out. But when I was level 70 on my druid I critted quite much more :-) Might be completely random this. ^^
Mangle is used on the primary and the glyphed maul+swipe is used for tertiary targets. If you check elitist jerks, even they will tell you to stick with swipe even on a single target after it is fully lacerated and mangle is cooling. Yes, this was the WOTLK beta and my lvl 70 gear was better. My druid got copied before he got a lot of upgrades.
And now I'm sitting back with an idea of - what a jerk I am. Especially as my rotation looks like:
Mangle, Ferie fire, lacerate, lacerate, mangle, lacerate, lacerate, lacerate, mangle, ferie fire. Beserk! And when lacerate is on 5 stacks and ferie fire + mangle is on CD yes. I use swipe (even improved one) *grin* :-)
I don't remember what it was at that time. This was during the beta. He used to be at the 73 elite armor cap, about 22K hp self buffed. He's now 80 and about 28K hp raid buffed.
