alternate take NICE. He is so great. Sorry some folks can't see past the skin color or mugshot. His greatness is what he should be known for. Listen to these words. I mean jeez.

This song hits home big time always had, being a dope fiend for years I relate to this song so much. Most of my friends died before 25 before they really lived.I dont know why I am here because at that time I didnt care 24/7 the King was on my mind,my life revolved around it.Even after seeing my brother die in front of me from an O'd just made me do more.Thank somebody I got that monkey off my back, this song speaks the truth.
@TheRalphus666 ~ I've been abusing the "King" for 9 years. I've tried many times to get it done"clean". I'm 30 yrs old. I don't want to be 60 & still using. I'll probably die before that, I hope.
great, brilliant, awesome but on first impression the characture drawing was misleading. upon greater reflection james teeth were white and his face reflected the heart of a happy man. well done thanks for taking the time to make and share
I dont know who posted this but right on my white bros and sistas,WHERE THE HELL ARE YALL FROM?EVERY video is a walk from my past...signed HARD TIME MISSISSIPPI 1980,,,PLEASE DONT STOP
the last time i heard this song i was 17, i was in a dark apt. in brooklyn on a sunday night it was cold and rainy, i was high, it stuck in my head, i'm 51 now and i which some of my friends were there that night with me...RIP Tito,Willieroy,Mo.
hi! Im a spanish boy, im 17 years and i had my uncle deep in the heroin. This song say to me that I cant drive on the drug side of the life..I love the music, and the life, not the drug but I like it.
That is a realy cool story, its amazing how some songs when first heard are like cameras and in that instant take snap shots of our life and when heard again we remember that first time like it was yesterday.

In another version , before the song started I read a reaction of a guy who was moved to tears by his voice and it's true
