Ahh, the problems of putting the word "funny" in the title, since thats what ends up being scrutinized by the YouTube riff raff instead of the gameplay. Altho i'll admit in this series hes not as funny as his SC2 dailys.prob cuz hes having too much fun in game to bother trying to be funny.

That 'fun glowy cursor thing which so matches the local environs' is that blue colour as it indicates to those of a Western cultural background that the item is harmless and shares a positive relationship to the player as we view the colour 'Blue' as friendly within the context of chromatic syntax, in this specific instance: its a container of equipment or gold. =P

@Glock3500 yes, but you only have X skill slots available at Y level. skillpool is quite large compared to what you can have available at any time, so the tactical aspect to an encounter is magnified.

I for one like how easy the starting areas are. Let's be honest. The reason d2 normal was hard/annoying was because

1) Your stamina went out every 30 seconds

2) You had no skills to use because you were forced to hoard points

3) Even if you spent points, they cost too much to use anyway

4) Act 1 potions were horrible

5) Did I mention you had no stamina?

D3 seems to have gotten rid of the annoying mechanics that made the early-going in D2 boring and awful to play.

Being a hardcore d2 player, that game was to easy.

Characters were overpowered, you could do baal runs on hell by yourself without any difficulty when you had good gear.

Diablo 3 looks great it looks like they took out most of the frustrating bits of Diablo 2 (D3 has great inventory management, an actual minimap and map, a quest tracker, right click to sell to vendors, right click to equip, you don't have to hold alt to see items, you can equip spells on your "belt", etc..) I like that it's more streamlined and clean now, but what's with the crazy fast mana regen and really easy difficulty? Is it just beta or is that how the game is really gonna be?
