I wear my A&M shirt to school with pride. I have even worn it in LSU stadium. I have almost gotten killed because of that, though. I am a very proud Aggie.
Second,if you liked this 'cross through,' you should check out some DCI drum corps do pass throughs in their drills.
They perform much more challenging music and do it while marching in some cases at 4 to 5 step-sizes at tempo 210. Check some of them out-they're pretty awe-inspiring musicians!
As someone who marched both DCI and Aggie Band, it's difficult to compare the two. In DCI, we had one main show created in a season, tweaking parts over the summer tour. FTAB marches a new drill every week, memorizes new music each week, and maintains 6 to 5, 30in. steps at 104 tempo. All that AND a full load of college (no band class) AND military training.
DCI is awesome, and I loved it. But I found the Aggie Band more challenging, especially pertaining to life in the Cadet Corps
Very well put. Some people might not realize how hard the band actually works to put on its shows each week. Both DCI and FTAB are admirable, no doubt. I, however, am partial to those who form on the North End of Kyle Field and are Nationally Famous. ;)

Texas a&m is an embarrassment to the state of Texas because of their ignorance and inability to properly control lumber.
