The dolphin design is just the cutest thing ever! I plan on using it this Thursday. I have an event with many kids and not a lot of time. I have a few quick designs already but that is definitely being added to my list Thank you so much for sharing these!
Hi Lisa, first of all, your videos are really good, me and my collegue love them and we use always your great ideas! we wolud like to ask you what brand of brushes do you use? tdo y know Eulenspiegel products? and Tag? Diamand Fx? what do you think is the best?what do you suggest? can you tell us, what products do you use? thanks a lot! and, we wait for your next video :) ciao ciao, Martina & Mattia from Italy
Thank you Lisa, lots of good advice... I tend to dread cheek art because I do fuss around with too much detail and it often takes me longer than a full face... and people expect it to be sooo cheap.
Yes - doesn't it look aweful on the cheek! Very helpful tips Lisa! In one of your previous videos you demonstrated how to add bits and pieces to a dolphin and flower to the side of the eye - they were great too!
What can you suggest for boys? I love your dagger and that doesn't take too long once you've practiced it a bit. What other designs can you suggest for boys? Spider, bats, your shark perhaps...anything else?
BTW - you're looking terrific. hope all is going well with bubs xo
@monicapowery I don't do pay per face events, but if I did, I wouldn't charge more for the crown since it doesn't really take any extra time. Rates for pay per face events all depend on the venue. While some venues may support $7 for cheek art, others may require prices as low as $2 - $3 per cheek art. The trickiest part of doing pay per face events is figuring out your prices :)
You have helped me so much with my new face painting business! Thank you so much! I did the dolphin on my daughter today and went shopping and people were raving about it-gave me the opportunity to hand out my business cards!
I think the cheek art looks bad when it's down lower on the cheek is because of the same reason you wouldn't wear blush there! I think it just gives the face an unattractive shape.
I love your posts, you always capture the smallest details that newbies like me have not even thought about. Thank you so much. Not sure if it is mothers day in the states but in Oz it is, so happy Mother's day!

Hey Lisa, do you charge extra when you do the cheek art as a crown? What are your cheek art rates?
