Government doesn't make jobs, bosses do. Government doesn't fire you, your boss does. They took their number of about 3.3% or so and applied it to census data without correlating the deaths to actually having no insurance. Not only did this study not validate it's findings (admitted by Himmelstein), it didn't include data showing how many of the uninsured actually had the means to buy insurance.

No, I am saying that the number of people dying from "no insurance" is immeasurable and vastly overstated. If you look at the denials the medicare makes each year the alternative isn't any better. People die all the time. People die from denial of care from insurance companies, but there is no reason to believe that will change under a government mandated plan.

I happen to know a great of people on medicare and none of them have ever been denied treatments that they need. I have known people who were denied medicare because they didn't meat the guidelines though which is totally different. Everyone I know on medicare is happy with the care they receive. One thing I know for certain is that if you are sick your odds of getting well increase if you are able to see a doctor. That is common sense. You have not proven anything at all.

Actually that is a misconception. Medicare is not free for everyone in fact many folks pay about $90.00 a month for it. It is only free if you meet certain income guidelines.
