God could have designed us as robots, but he didn't. We have free will. As examples in the Bible speak of resurrections, that will take place on a LARGE scale in the future. (John 5:28,29)

I understand your argument. Thing is, God would only create questions if he did that immediately. "Maybe Satan was right, God is not fit to lead man?" His POWER was not what Satan challenged, it was his Sovereignty. Man has been given 6000+ years to govern themselves, and as you see, democracy, communism, monarchy, or oligarchy......NONE have worked. The Bible gives us the outline to be found in favor by God, and we have to follow it to live as intended......in a paradise earth!

On a scale we can relate, the earth is 1 cent. The sun would be 3 1/2 feet. The largest star "KNOWN" to man, would be equivalent to 1.43 miles! Inanimate matter is completely different. I know much about the universe (for a layman), probably more than you, thanks. The universe is beyond our comprehension, and assuming we are at the figurative center of it, as your bible says, is ridiculous. It says we are the highest creation, when in fact we are insignificant.

@ewyoon I didn't say they had to be Atheists to make discoveries that went counter to religion. They found the truths about the world despite the most notorious and negative religious pressures to suppress them. Scientific discoveries were not BECAUSE of their faith.
