this is a Steve Roberts tongue drum. i have a drum from steve, only he can make them sound this nice. he has a website that's easy to find. I think you should give steve some credit on your videos.
Great instrument, but I wish there were more videos of skilled players playing them. No offense, i'm sure you had a great time, but it isn't really a feat of musicality.
what is the correlation between the size of the tounges and the key of sound it make? im curious to know, as i own a laser engraving shop, and would like to create and sell these.
pretty skillful to keep that goin and not lose track - just a general question, to record while playing the drum and still get good sound, do you just use a normal camcorder, or webcam? I've given it a shot with my crappy microphone and also a digital camera, just doesn't capture the sound very well. any tips?
The microphones built into cheapish digital cameras can be quite good. Let's face it - we're not here for audio quality but to appreciate each other's skills. Keep up the good work, xylo.
Very good

Looks like instead of buying new sticks you could just take some bouncy balls and run a skewer through them.
