  • Wow, I have never seen a truck like this before. Great job Mike!!!

  • @Mike3141981 they had these around in the mid to late 90s this was a 98 nice design very unique

  • @gtpmike2000

A truck similar to this used to pick up at my grandparents house during the 1980's. White body with a blue cab, manual side loader. Only a single axle as well. Fun truck to watch.

  • Is that bar that extends over the cab what the end of the ejection plate piston is attached to? I originally thought maybe these bars were just for protection as a front loader, but now see they are on rear loaders, as well.

  • @BurgerChefGuy yeah the 5 0r 6 stage piston sits in that up there its kind of a cool set up

  • This is the first time I ever seen a CCC IFL truck using a Cummins diesel engine. Must have been a custom order cause the only ones I saw had 2 stroke Detroit Diesel 6-71Ts. I like the steel disc wheels on that truck better that the old spider spokes they used to come with. That truck sounds good though!

  • this was a treat to get man let me tell you !

  • new york city DSNY used to use this same truck when they had a contract with crane carrier. the trucks have since been replaced with Macks.

  • I know!! I used to live in NY!!! I've seen quite a few of them in the early 80's brand new when I was young!!! Like I said earlier, they all had Detroit Diesel's 6-71Ts back then!!!!

  • mmm

  • This truck is beyond awesome, if I had disposable income I would buy it simply to have it.

  • If I could find the business, I would buy it and put it to work. This is a true gem.

  • nothing like it out there now and prolly ever will be

  • Thats sad. I bet there a lot of them that are just rusting away on some lot.

  • This has got to be the coolest FL around!

    Awesome vid!

    5* & fav!

  • hey, did Miller Recycling buy Advanced or they just change the name or what? I see their rolloffs at Trojan Recycling all the time.

  • yep, front loaders are a whole other world all in itself.nice views mike, check out my favorites and look for the faun roto press and the 2 next to it,wierd & different ;)

  • wow. never thought I would see one of these in action. thanks for the video

  • no problem man im glad i was able to get this in action ! what a beast

  • That's one BIG monster!

  • yeah man i wish u could have seen her in person

  • Great Job Mike!

    JoJo

  • AWESOME!!!! Terrific video, love the full throttle sound during 'ejection'! The IFLs (or at least this one) sound exactly like the slightly newer CCC/Legal One FLs around here!!! Loved the post, how could I not favorite this?? :D

  • Why did CCC quit making these? They were pretty neat.

  • i know one of my fav trucks ever built to bad

  • The City of Decatur ran two of these monsters for quite a while before switching to Volvo's. I loved watching them in action, especially at the incinerator back in the day.

  • I remember the DSNY had a fleet of these unique trucks until they were replaced by a more conventional body on frame type.

  • yeah i remember seeing pictures of these nice trucks thanks for the comment

  • That was some pretty nice footage Mike! Think the hinges on the tailgate could use a little grease! Another 5 * ratting!

  • WOW! Nice job, great truck too. I have only seen an IFL once, unfortunately it was half burried in a pile of other scrapped trash trucks which mostly consisted of Rapid Rails, old Amreps, and Maxons.

  • Awsome! I love these trucks, now all we need is a video of the ISL...

Does anyone know when they stopped making these?

  • wow first time ive ever seen one of these in action

  • Oh you legend! Looks like they were made very well, great speed with the arms as well! Now that sound is just spectacular too! Thanks a billion for grabbing this one. I pray somebody finds an IFL on route - fingers crossed!

  • I've got a video coming up (sometime....) of a Maxon Legal One FL/CCC on OCC route with the exact same sound when throttling. It's like NOTHING else to hear this kind of sound in person!!

  • Great catch Mike. What a beast! I always wondered how those worked. THANX

  • no problem glad you enjoyed they have these up in you area ?

  • I don't think so. Maybe once upon a time but I have only ever seen pictures of these online. So Thank you very much. I'll have to return the favor with some VIP vids...LOL

  • thanks bro we all do our part here to make everyone happy :)

  • Amazing Video. I have only saw this type of truck maybe one time in my life. Thanks for taking the time to video this massive machine. 5 Stars & keep up the good work!

  • thanks man im glad you liked these are becoming rear so i had to take the chance and get it while i could

  • hands down! best vid of the year...tallahassee only has ONE left on an OCC route and i've been waiting to see it since i started my account. this vid helped me realize that it's definitely worth the wait.

  • thanks for the kind words i have been tracking this truck for a while and finaly got lucky today

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!! Listen to that beast scream! 5 stars all the way and a definite fav, sorry Mike, phone's just about dead, and I left my charger at work...Congrats on number 50!
