I swear Mario is gonna be in Kingdom Hearts 3.... with Square-Enix history with Nintendo,(Super Mario RPG) and there recent games on the DS like KH358/2 Days and Re:Coded. Not to mention they added FF characters into this game. I mean why would they put characters of the Video Game franchise that saved there company into a Mario game? To put Mario into there most successful VG franchise since FF. I swear I am betting on this. :)

Personally I hate when companies do something like this. A forgettable game that could be represented by any random set of characters. that instead is marketed with characters from popular franchises.There's no reason this needs to be a Mario game, but kids will buy anything that has that Italian plumber's face on it. I just feel like my favorite childhood character's are becoming sell outs.

@TBoneTony You can get the final fantasy team (Ninja, White Mage & Black Mage) in all 4 sports at once by beating star road three times on one sport. I recommend dodgeball, since you can beat the CPU before the time limit reaches 1:00 or maybe even 2:00.

I found out something from watching an anime that had dodgeball.

This is the Japanese version of Dodgeball, not the western version of dodgeball.

All the other sports I really enjoyed but only when I got the harder modes...

easy was way too easy and trying to unlock every character that were only FF and DQ slime characters for each sport was annoying.

They should improve the difficulty in 2 sports. First, for hockey, the shy guys just stand there like a statue.Because there is only so many ways to score, you would wonder if you would be better off without a goalie. In basketball it is so easy to dunk. They should get rid of the flashing in which you shoot and if it is flashing, it will immediately go in. Other than that, it is fine.

It seemed like a cash in on Nintendo's part. As you said there isn't much depth to the game and not many modes or unlock ables. I'd like to say I'll wait for the price to go down but since its a Nintendo title that won't be happening for a long while. Great video guys.
