That big Monte is bad ass my Dad has a stock 1985 Monte Carlo Ss with the original re-built 305 in it & I can hear it riding all the way down my 1/4 mile street I can't imagine how loud your car would be rippin' up my street

Very nice sounding motor. I too don't leave "on converter", I just hit the gas from idle. I'm running a 383 stroker, TH350, and a gearvendors under/overdrive in my 75 Monte Carlo.

The biggest ive gotten mine is a 10.5" Mickey Thompson street/drag radial.. Mine has a 383 stroker and waiting on a supercharger now for it

Cheapest stuff i can get on a budget... Jegs 3200 with Summit TH-350 Trans.. I don't leave on the converter though, i just wait for third amber and hit it.
