I researched this and Honda just barely started doing professional rallying as a company in 2006. WRC has been around for something like 40 years. My cousin works at the Cami assembly line in London Ontario, according to him GM is coming out with a supercharged LS7 (7.0L 427cu. in. v8) that produces about 670hp.
Keep the new NSX Mid-engined, made of aluminum just like the original with either a high horsepower high revving V6/V8 made with exotic materials like the original. Give the car a 400HP 6 speed weighing 3000lbs even.Take the original design which was a success and bring it up to date, there is the new NSX.
I love the way that sounds. You've got a great idea. If they put a V6 in it it's got to have vtec, i would say a V8 would be better off without valve lift. 400HP sounds good, it would compete with the supposed new "supra" that toyota has up it's sleeve. As for the tranny, either a 6 speed manual or a 7 speed dual clutch would work.

I talked with a guy who works at a Toyota dealership in the city here, he says the supra is still in the works and WILL be produced. It's set for a 2010 release. I think he said Fall 2010 with a limited production of 60,000 vehicles. Also, it was confirmed in an automobile magazine that I get each month that Toyota doesn't care about the economy and plan to move forward with developing the supra.
yeah i now on 3 cars. RDX, City and Legend...but Legend was used just the TM compressor. that's exactly mean 2 turbo car in history. in F1 80's and early 90' was a turbo era. everyone used turbos. Lower rpm bigger power, bigger torque from low rpm.

Yeah, Honda sucks.. That's why they are a major part of F1 and participate in Le Mans occasionally. Honda makes quality engines, but ricers ruin the image of Honda by taking economic cars, and putting nitrous and decals on it.

the point is that Honda play a role in the Rally WRC, You make it seem like they never even race in it. I don't care if they weren't in the top 5 or 10 or maybe 20th. The last AWD Civic was back in the late 80s. But all civic that are compete in the WRC are convert to AWD. Some still fwd as we speaking. You don't have to have a AWD to compete in the WRC.. Get your fact straight....

I researched this and Honda just barely started doing professional rallying as a company in 2006. WRC has been around for something like 40 years. I shun their decision to rally Civics in an AWD chassis that is not available to the public. They are a joke. Get my facts straight? What FACT did I state? I merely asked questions. Two of my questions you still didn't answer: When's the last time Honda finished top 5 in a WRC event? Dakar Rally? Noone cares. Honda sucks.

Keep the new NSX Mid-engined, made of aluminum just like the original with either a high horsepower high revving V6/V8 made with exotic materials like the original. Give the car a 400HP 6 speed weighing 3000lbs even.Take the original design which was a success and bring it up to date, there is the new NSX.

I love the way that sounds. You've got a great idea. If they put a V6 in it it's got to have vtec, i would say a V8 would be better off without valve lift. 400HP sounds good, it would compete with the supposed new "supra" that toyota has up it's sleeve. As for the tranny, either a 6 speed manual or a 7 speed dual clutch would work.

V10 is concept on papers. all depends about Honda. like everyone tells about Supra MK5=Never. Mk4 was last. GT-R..rumors? real and here. :D

I talked with a guy who works at a Toyota dealership in the city here, he says the supra is still in the works and WILL be produced. It's set for a 2010 release. I think he said Fall 2010 with a limited production of 60,000 vehicles. Also, it was confirmed in an automobile magazine that I get each month that Toyota doesn't care about the economy and plan to move forward with developing the supra.

Honda has used turbos on some of their cars in the past. Read up on some history first. They also had turbo'd engines in the 80's for Formula1 cars.

yeah i now on 3 cars. RDX, City and Legend...but Legend was used just the TM compressor. that's exactly mean 2 turbo car in history. in F1 80's and early 90' was a turbo era. everyone used turbos. Lower rpm bigger power, bigger torque from low rpm.
