  • xcode 4

    Thanks...vmars316

  • Xcode 4

  • Xcode 4

  • How do I update if I want to creat apps for iOS 5

  • Hey, I actually am just learning C programming from your tutorials (they are fantastic by the way), but i do know that Xcode 4 is free for me because I signed up as a developer but i haven't paid anything. You can just set an account up free and this is free for you. The only thing is, I can't download it because I still have snow leopard and lion is 30 bucks.

  • @FriendlyUCKids Ya, Xcode 4 is now free with Lion. It used to cost money.

  • Xcode 4

  • Xcode 4 for sure great video man! Keep them coming!.

  • Xcode 4 please. I have just started diving into ios programming and have had many troubles translating tutes to the latest xcode.

  • xCode 4 please!!!

I'm just starting to learn and the tutorials for xCode 3 got me nowhere after a few steps since they changed or moved stuff. Like a couple of people already mentioned, there are plenty of xCode 3 tutorials here.

  • Xcode 4, Saw the reviews, people seem to love it. Either way, it is Apples future.

  • Xcode 4

  • I would go for Xcode 4, there are plenty of tutorials using Xcode 3 out there but very few with Xcode 4

  • xCode 4 please.. It is the new standard, even if I'm not crazy about it..

  • Please Xcode 4.. I am new to XCODE and downloaded already xcode 4

  • Question? warm greetings to you, my question is when used xCode 3 i used to have three tabs (Objects - Classes - Media ) so after adding an object to the window i go to Library -> Classes & selecting the object would give me a Drop-down list to choose an Action which will be added to the object and later given a name.

in xCode 4 i could not find the Classes in which will give me a Drop-down list to add an action, so how or where may i be able to do this?

    Thanks & Best Regards

  • xCode 4. 5 bucks isn't that much. Plus xCode 4 looks easy.

  • definitely xCode 4!

  • im newer to xcode and i can't find the IB buttons and labels in xcode 4 any help please?

  • @STARSKY1313 Watch the first few videos of the Cocoa series on my channel, it should help you out.

  • @AppleProgramming thanks, subbed for help

  • @ylide74 I could have, but this video was just a quick question, all of my other tutorials are a little more concise. I appreciate the advice though.

  • You seem to be properly covering all the bases. You can't ignore Xcode 4 for this series for much longer. Covering backward compatibility helps those who, for whatever reason, will be using 3. After all, if someone, a year from now, were doing a series like this teaching features of OS X, would they use Snow Leopard or Lion? You can't fight the future. Stick a crowbar in your wallet and spend $4.99.

  • @jimbobago Well the final outcome was indeed, Xcode 4, so no need to worry :D

  • Winning!

  • If someone isn't serious enough to spend just $5 for a full IDE to learn Mac programming, then forget them. Future proof it and go with Xcode 4.

  • Xcode 4. It's just 5 dollars, granted it could be cheaper or free like it used to be but it's not. So to stay currant I'm willing to pay the amount and move on. Peace

  • xcode 4 :)

  • My vote goes to xcode 4, because I support new technology.

  • xcode 4!!!

    its the future!

  • Definitely Xcode 4, $5 or £2.99 in the UK is a pretty small amount of money to be using the latest and greatest

  • Currently downloading xcode 4, can't wait for its new feature, and incomming tutorials. :)

  • I'm already working with XCode 4 for a while (Developer Release)

    I'd vote for it

It's Great and Indeed not to Different.

  • @L0CKnL0aD7 Good, looks like we are going the 4 route then, excellent

  • I think you should use Xcode 4. Build for the future or else the tutorials will start feeling dated soon. I'm finishing downloading it right now. $5 is not so bad.

  • @oraculo666 Great, that's 2 for Xcode 4 - looking good so far :D

  • $5 is better than compared to the $10k for Visual studio.

  • @Techn0Junki3 Agreed, I will also try to make IB 3 tutorials I think if need be. Hopefully people can realize that this is a small fee to pay for such an awesome update.
