  • i bet the weight 50/50 on this car is fucked.lol

  • I can hear that cooling system has air in it, because motors idle rpm not stable. :) peace ;)

  • ...4: this is a very old video and the engine's first start in my car. intake was not a priority as it wasn't even drivable yet -__- 5: i dont hate or criticize anyone elses builds and such, plz don't do it with mine lol

  • i love how everyone is so overly critical. i thrive on that. 1: it was a budget swap. car came with a d15 that was falling apart. nobody had an a2 around me for a reasonable price, back before kswaps really started to pick up, so i grabbed this motor. 2: if i can find a head in good condition for a reasonable price, i'll definitely do a head swap, but i'm also trying to save for the ecu as well. 3: on boost this motor is nasty. the block is stronger than a2, and the gears handle boost better...

  • @XMidnightHawkX I have an a3 prb ecu of youre interested

  • put an intake on it before you make your engine collect trash and break

  • VACCUM LEAK

  • What's the point of going through the trouble of doing a k swap, and swapping in an a3? Kind of defeats the purpose dont you think?

  • nice car bro, which tranny you using for it and how does the base model feel in your coupe?

  • @WeHaveSteeze right now im on the stock 5 speed tranny that came with the motor, i considered upgrading to a 6 speed but i like the feel of the 5, and its got LOOONGG gears. as for the motor, its really torquey, and it doesnt pop vtec like a type-s motor, but i can pull on a type-s no problem. its got 9.8:1 compression and its BEGGING me for boost

  • @XMidnightHawkX it dosent "pop" vtec, or engage, because the K20a3 has Ecotec, in order to get the most potential out of that motor, use the K20a2 (rsx-types) head on the A3 block, i myself have an EP3 si, which has the K20a3

  • Am waithing on my k20z1 but I dont know what headers and exhaust to put on for nice sound what you think?

  • @anthocord23 honestly i havent heard any other k20 swap exhaust systems, there arent any other swaps i see around where i am, and i had mine custom made after the headers. right now im running the rcrew swap headers and 2.5" straight piping all the way back to an ansa silverline muffler. i'll post another clip of the car soon

  • @anthocord23 had my k20a2 swapped 00 coupe since 08. im using the apexi WS2 exhaust. its a 2.36" piping, and sounds real quiet when driving normal, and its like a throaty VTEC sound during full throttle. my video doesnt do the real sound any justice. sounds WAY nicer in person. but RCREW is good for its price. i had DC swap header, which didnt gain me much power. 2 weeks ago i switched my mounts to EKK2, so i had to change my header. so i have the hytech replica now. told its better than RECREW

  • @anthocord23 well, from this shop does does mostly K swapped cars, and has k swapped race cars, they told me for the price, the hytech replica is better. about the same price, and makes a little more power after he took his RCREW out. but i plan to retune it maybe this week, or next week. so we will see what gains i have over my DC header

  • Was this swap worth it? Im planning to put a usdm K20a3 into my ek hatch too.

  • @KONGMENG101991 to me it was worth it, i found good deals at local places on most of the parts, and definitely recommend getting in touch with hybrid racing for parts and support. as for the motor, its got nice low-end torque and a good power spread throughout the band, and when you hit the gas, you'll know it lol

  • nice... If it isn't done yet, oh boy. Hope to see more of it. peace.
