Thanks , this is a great video , i am customizing a few bikes , and i have realized that the cost of building the kit is about the same as doing 3 bikes worth of parts . Cheers (-:
@delyx247 Thanks! Yeah, the start up cost for a small anodizing set up like this seems kind of pricey but as long as you keep your tanks clean and free from contaminants you'll be able to run hundreds of parts through it without having to replace the chemicals, that will keep the cost of each run down.
@sojournearth Thanks! The values were used by typing in my total surface area (which has to be done manually, no easy way around that) into this handy dandy anodizing calculator that can be found by Googling "Anodizing Calculator" The sealer I use is Caswell Plating's anodizing sealer, you can use plain distilled water to seal the anodize layer too, but the nickle acetate sealer improves colour fastness so the colour doesn't fade from UV exposure.
Nice video! I would like to do this for a few small aluminum pcs, could you do that for me, if I send you a picture of them could you give me a quote?
@Luisxviiii Sure thing, shoot me an email info@villainmotorsports.ca with a picture or two and approximate size of the parts and I'll get back tpo you with a quote
