  • The book is sensational. Reminds me of David Sedaris's BARREL FEVER. Most of the stories are nonfiction (about growing up, working in the theater, writing the screenplays to SISTER ACT, IN AND OUT, the ADDAMS FAMILY films and others). But there is also a running series of short stories all featuring the same character who has an ax to grind with the world and most of the people he complains about end up dead. Very funny.
