well, to answer the steam tractor question, it would take a while. there's a lot to it. basicly, a fire is stoaked in the firebox, and the heat from it creats steam inside the boiler. the steam is then sent through a throttle valve, passed the governer, and then into the steam valve, or steam chest. then, steam enters into the cylinder and pushes a piston back and fourth. this causes the piston rod to move the drive rod and turn a crank disk via flywheel.
Yea it kinda did remind me of the 3-Chime Crosby that shay 11 had on her for the 2007 Cass rail fan weekend. Except Shay 11's Crosby is a little more high pitched.
I actually have one of these. It's a little more high pitched though. This one sounds really nice. I tell ya Spooler your pretty good behind the cord!
