hello, I've been using virtualization of multiple OS on my desktop since '03 with IVT supported cards and open source VMM. It's nice to see apple is finally getting around to it with their newer cpus
but the windows box is what sux. the os is not made for touch input. so the userexperience is terrible.
it's nice that it can work, but the whole windows layer should be removed. the future is everything in the cloud. files, notes, mails, pictures. who needs their own server?
@mavje there is not "windows box". There are pc's. And no the touchy things are not the future. The mac OS is not that impressive at all. The mac software however is very impressive, lots of high tech applications and features. But if you want a fast computer that'll do every day things without the annoying touchies then you get linux. Which is just an early version of unix.
cool demo but using an iPhone as a trackpad for mouse driven applications is not ideal. Also web browsing in internet explorer on an iPad is just WRONG!
Please show a windows touch enabled application working with the ipad via RDP or citrix
@mavje windows is on his server machine. the ipad is in this case the client. thats AWESOME! Get your files from your work machine mailed if you need to etc. read memos or exchange server on the iPad from the Windows Box
