That was beautifuk, thank you.I've just finished listening to The Lone justice cd, the one with "pass it on" "you are the light" etc on it. I searched on Yt for more stuff, and came across Maria singing Troubled Waters. I can't think of any other singer who could change their voice so dramatically. If I heard it on the radio, and was told that was Maria McKee, I wouldn;t believe. But I do prefer her singing here.

I've always loved this song (and the entire 'you gotta sin to get saved' album). The Jayhawks are all over the album, and Marc Olson and Gary Louris, in the video, co-wrote it.

Thanks for this one! Maria is breathtaking as always:) Met her once after a show and she is really nice. took her time to sit on a park bench hanging around with us fans for like an hour although they were on their way to Germany in their bus. Cred!!

Beautiful Irish girl???? Last time I checked she was born in Los Angeles CA and not in Ireland. Don't be stealin our national treasure. There may be better technical singers, but I have never heard anyone touch the soulfulness of Maria McKee.
