What's the safeist way to do this and not get hurt?

Most importantly to know what it is that you are doing, its not as simple as getting into a car and chasing down the nearest storm and finding a tornado. Its definitley not some joy ride to just go out & have fun. Its important to have a good understanding of weather knowledge and tornadoes. Its important to have weather radio & radar in car with you. So you know all the info on the storm. Im driven by passion & love for weather, so if you have that, do what it takes to know & learn all you can!

So did you stop to help? I mean you were there with in 4minutes. A real chaser would have stopped to help.

Yeah definitley, was going to check out that red car at first, had some other guys we saw earlier checking out that situation. As we where driving through that area, we pulled over a couple times to take a few looks. Kinda stayed out of the way though, emergency response vehicles got around pretty quickly to.

There were two people killed west of Kirksville....in the house we used to own. I call a terrible call tonight, that it was my modular they lived in. IT was blown apart, and the couple was thrown 75 ft. I left town last year with my wife and two little girls, and let the bank take this house. I feel terrible for the couple...but thank god my family wasn't there....scott

The two guys I was with there are from Nebraska, I also go out with a friend of mine from Kansas. I'm originally from Nebraska as well.

Oh I know, I usually play it pretty safe. Seeing some of those other videos just make me go what the heck! I can see pushing a well visible tornado but ones that are rain wrapped like that, no thanks at all. I won't play with it to long & definitely not get any closer than what we where.

I had the camera out as it crossed the road behind me as well, except i didn't think I was still recording from earlier, and i pushed the record button when i got out and it stopped the recording insted. :(
