lovely guy, you're just so sweet John and you're helping others and yourself by doing the vids good luck to u hope u meet someone special v.soon *hugs* xxx
Well you're very handsome and you seem really sweet. You can fart and burp all you want around me and as long as you're still as sweet as you seem it's all good :)
Ok, I just finished watching all your other videos about Schizoaffective Disorder. I just can't believe you have this as well. I'm burping and farting a lot after I eat protein rich food as well as food with carbohydrates. I thought that's normal. Isn't it? I also fart a lot after sweet apple, for example. Sometimes I can't burp and it becomes very annoying, sometimes hard to breathe, but I take a deep breath and hold it a bit and it opens up and gasses come out one way or the other.
You are a strong guy and I admire your courage to be able to speak out and letting people aware of these problems and to seek help. I want to tell you that don't be shy or feel embarrassed in an intimate situation!!! If a person truly loves you, he will love who you are not what you are. :) If he doesn't accept these, then he doesn't deserve you. :)
Try not to shy away from love, of yourself or of someone else. Anyone who had to think twice about you just because of this is hardly worth your time. You're a fine man. Be well, friend.
i have the same problems.. thanks, it means alot to see you be so open about it, and to know other people are struggling like me. i really need to be more open about it
I have so much respect for you to be able to share your story with people. I can relate to everything you've mentioned. Crohns is such a physically and socially debilitating disease. I'm 21 now and got diagnosed 7 years ago, and 1 and a half years ago got 30cm of bowel removed. For the exhaustion have you had your Iron and adrenal levels tested? In my case the only thing that put me into remission was a liquid diet, gross but worth it- modulen and ensure. Good luck with everything!
Respect for you be so open! I also have crohn´s disease and i know the horrible MRI and colonscopes. Also the shame and disunderstanding. But try not to be ashamed, you didn´t choose for this disease..and the right person in a relationship would understand you might have more burpings and gas.Every healthy person also burbs, farts and makes noises! A good thing reduce burbs is healing earth.I know it as Luvos heilerde. But also try to avoid drinks with gas helped me reduce the gasproblem.
hi john i understand what your going thru as i have crohns and i got diagnosed about 5 years ago and lost my job thru it but i bounced back and got back into working again after 2 years of stuck on benefits. my experience is the doctors know nothing about the disease and the drugs they gave me did nothing. so i stopped taking them because i had flare ups when i did take them and didnt have flare ups when i stopped them just the bad wind and loose bowels with the bad wind.
Hey jonny, while watching your video i really could relate to your concerns about being in a relationship with someone, living with a stomach disorder. I have acid reflux disease, which symptoms are constant heartburn but, luckily there is very effective medication on the market that improves the quality of my life. Now that I know that there exists someone gay as yourself whom I can relate to, I don't really feel disconnected and hopeless. Thanks for sharing your experiences :)
Jonny, I just want to mirror what everyone else has said. You are an amazing human being. Try not to worry so much about being intimate with someone--anyone would be lucky to have you in their lives. Keep up your positive attitude and I hope you feel better.
@JudgeJJP thats funny i wish there was a way crohns sufferers could second guess before they expell gas. being a sufferer i prefer to ride a motorbike than take the bus LOL
John, I could be wrong but this is the first video that I have seen you with so much expression on your face. When you first smiled I couldn't help but smile myself. You are very pretty and I hope to see more of your smile in future videos. As for your concern about how Crohns, or anything else, might interfere with a relationship, if someone is that short sighted they don't deserve you anyway. When a guy didn't try to understand my depression I just moved on. You're really a special person.
I know a couple of people with Crohn's disease. They control it with diet. They stay away from anything with wheat gluten and keep a very close watch on their consumption of greasy foods. There's a lot on Chrohn's disease and diet on the Internet. I hope that it all goes well for you.
Hopefully all the unpleasant things will just go, when the medication starts to work more? Just try & laugh at it, whilst with people atm.At least you haven't got to sit in any quiet exam halls! :) x
The worst is if you have to fart while you're in a class while taking a test. It's dead silent and you try really hard to hold it in, but it gets the best of you and everyone hears ): I can't imagine how difficult it must be to live with this, but thank you for being so personal with us! (:
I have such admiration for you. Thank you for sharing your life with me. It gave me so much more understanding of something I didn't know much about. You've changed my perspective - so thank you.

The problem is finding out what you are low in, you cant just take a multivitamin and think you will be fine.
MTHKITEBOARDS 5 months ago
Vitamin D3 around 10000iu u might pull you out of hell in 4 days.
Crohns will slowly keep you from absorbing your minerals and vitamins, until one day you end up in the hospital and cant even absorb water.
Its sick how they treat Crohns just with a bunch of medication without even taking a test to see what you are missing in your body.
If you can get all the right levels of vitamins, minerals and whatever else they is then crohns will be so easy to treat.

Whats even worse is when you expell gas and MORE than gas comes out! Its awful. Welcome to the world of Crohns.
