@legendhunter47 No, this is a 4 cycle engine that runs off the natural well gas, at the end of the movie you can see the gasometer that regulates the gas going to the engine. It was put on the oil lease around 1906..
@danfhowe You are correct that it is water dripping from the tank. I was trying to show the leaks and how they hammered wood plugs in them for repairs. The water is for cooling the engine. The engine is hooked to several oil wells. It is still running today...
@MrGotsquashed I didn't get a very good shot of the safety sign, but I think it said something to the effect of don't work on the engine without unhooking the spark plug??
Is this a hot bulb stationary diesel engine? what year was this beast made?
