I got two tactics when it comes to takedowns:

1. Boost into their back and if you pull it right they will crash and give you either "Psych out" or "Takedown".

2. Drive on their side and push them towards their doom. :p

how do you do a perfect video by using the ps2/xbox with a film capture?

Actually I use my ps2 connected to the video in component of my vga (its a geforce 7600gt with VIVO) and I capture with iuvcr (best so far, because other apps you get to much flickering)
