I am trying to get a handle on this, I don't see enough wrong in this to get where the desire to knock it in the way you do comes from.
If it wasn't for the appropriate use of South Park I would of dismissed your views entirely because of approach and tone. If you don't mind me asking, what is your desire to be harsh based on?
Is there somewhere I can get a handle on your side? This issue obviously has some pretty big connotations.
Why am I so passionate about all this? I reject Anthropogenic Global Warming and the whole Green movement. I'm FOR science, technology, industry, capitalism, individual rights, free markets, Western values.
I'm active in Australian politics. I've been a radio presenter and podcaster since 1995.
And last but not least: I had a Pommy girlfriend for 7 years, and I'm surely a better man for it! :-D D
The Centre for Independent Studies is putting the "politics" ahead of the science and the economics. They're "playing politics" - instead of looking after the interests of Australians. What use are they?
Oh, ok mate. I am not Australian and familiar with their work.
I thought it might be a bit harsh as the bloke did say there were several facets to debate, however that particular bit was restricting it for practical purposes..That seems fair and pretty standard to me.
This conference or whatever it is does not suggest that it is exclusively a political debate nor does it put it 'ahead'.
Are you a random punter or do you have a dog in his hunt. Do you know these guys?
Lol. English. 'Tis my own accent.
'too soft'?

It is a political issue.
Why the question mark?

IMO a little harsh.

Gee ... I thought most of the inserted comments and clips were "harsh".
Damn! Maybe I've been too soft! :-D
PS: Pretty good Aussie accent you've got there!
