"giving it a go"-doing it is what matters, not whether you did it perfect the first time or if it is what someone else preferred to do. if any successful designer set out to create perfection the first time, nothing would have happened. good job.
fucken pretty good alright just need to brace the 2 opposite ends at 45degree top faceing left on the right hand side and top facing right on the left hand side thats my oppinion good to watch clip i didnt even blink
i have a question i have a parakeet breeder cage and my uncle gave me a chick the chick is healthy and it was one of his biggest chicks he had is this this a good thing to do until it is to big for the cage and stays around my house the cage has containers filled with water and food will it have a warmth problem there are also perches in the cage and its a somewhat big cage
I'm not sure if this applies to you, but I want to raise chickens and I'm trying to convince my parents. One reason my mom doesn't want them is because she thinks that they'll all freeze in winter. (we have cold winters). How do you keep you're coop warm? Is electricity necessary?
I went to your blog... but your last one was in 07. What happened? BTW: I LOVED the first egg vid. Not only was it humorous, and brought back memories of my first egg... but it's the first time I've ever seen egg cups in use! So, you're telling me the whites get done, but the yolk is runny?!?! OMG I need them! (you know, eating boiled eggs on plates is either too slippery or just plain messy!)
Hey there your videos are very inspiring,If u have a spare few moments what would be the best and easiest vegetables for me to attempt to grow next year , as i want to try and be more green (ive already got ducks :)
Tomatoes, green beans and corn are the easiest from what I've seen. Your ducks will love nibbling on the corn cobs after you eat the corn. I had ducks for awhile and they loved the cobs. :)
I've had good results with zucchini, eggplant, squashes, tomato's of course, and lettuce, also chard and most leafy greens for that matter are very easy to grow. Nastursums are also a good addition if you like edible flowers, they take no care, and they look beautiful.
The chicken coop will, I hope, give you the most satisfation. If succesful the chickes should provide you with quite a bit of food. Lets hope they're not too noisy.
Look good guys, only a few chickens then? should be an odd number, min of three as chickens are communal animals oh and you'll need some round sticks for them to roost on. Wood shavings in the bottom would be good for them to scratch in and easy for you to clean.
I have a rounded stick in there at the moment, you can just see it in the video running between the two nest boxes. They are not using it though. I think it is too close to the side wall so they don't have enough room to get comfy on it. I plan to move it more into the middle.
It has two little doors on one side which give access to the nesting boxes for egg collection. That whole side also comes off for cleaning it out. There will be more info on the design in the next video.
Yes they have a ramp with steps on. At first it did not have many steps and they did not like going on it as they slipped, so I added some more about 1.5 inches apart and now they are more comfortable using it. Check the picks on the blog.
wait i don't understand why did he put 2 slice of wood up in the 2nd floor ?

most people just use a light bulb. If you keep them inside a coop with a light, they should be okay!
