Cornell Glen is going to give me an ulcer. He's so good one moment, then blows it spectacularly, like last Saturday, when he completely broke away, taking the ball the length of the field, then missed the shot, when Arturo Alvarez was standing not fifteen yards away, completely open and yelling at him. I do like how aggressive he's been lately, much like the Glen of old, and hopefully he will continue to improve. I'll be cheering him!
i agree, you could see that the last twenty minutes they were real scrapping for it, no runs outta the back and alot of rushed clearances to no one, if we could finish how we start, we would run Concacaf
for real people ah know we happy with the win but fitness is a real concern. fellas was gasping for air in the second half. and when you're tired that is when yuh start to make mistakes. we have to be able to finish games a lot better if we are to have a real chance of beating our future opponents.
Our attack was Good. I thought we played our style of football like Coach said we would. However I am still concern about our conditioning and our defense against Mexico pace and the US Technicality. I am proud of you guys and I Believe we have wut it takes to get to SA 2010. El Salvador with their six man Midfield never really use d it till the second half. Why play 6 mids and pass the ball through the air if you have bigger opponents? I think they should fire that Mexican coach.
