Se poi vogliamo mettere i puntini sulle 'i', la band non ha mai annunciato lo scioglimento, ma se proprio vogliamo dare una data si parla di Agosto 1986, quando Sting sbatte la porta in faccia a Stewart in uno studio londinese dicendo di non voler continuare le registrazioni di nuove versioni di brani di repertorio da includere nel Greatest Hits pubblicato poco dopo.
(in tv non si può entrare in tutti i dettagli, altrimenti il pubblico si addormenta...).

Yeah, can you believe that guy got to interview Stewart Copeland! I would absolutely love to interview Stewart. I would love to just hang out with him. He seems like he is the coolest guy ever! Not to mention the stories he could tell you about playing stadiums!!!
Adventures of Geof: Too bad you are so negative and interpreted the discomfort in such a negative way. Sometimes it's uncomfortable waiting for translation and frustrating when you don't speak the native language. Especiall if you are a person who relates to people through humor, some of which doesn't translate the same.... Be positive. Great work Giovanni.

Caro Fe80, o dovrei chiamarti caro professorino di inglese, credo che per te 'tradurre' significhi mettere le parole in un traduttore on-line e vedere cosa succede...peccato tu non abbia la conoscenza dell'argomento. Vai leggere qualche libro sui Police...magari ci capisci qualcosa e riesci anche a capire la traduzione.
Copeland looks extremely uncomfortable here. I get the impression he finds this silly little Italian very irritating, but is plugging his film, which isn't very good anyway. It's a shame Copeland has to suffer this humiliation.
I'm afriad you're not that much into this world or at least you don't know that much Stewart; I've been working with him for 5 years now, he was extremely happy to be part of this show (you should see the whole show), and very happy about the promotion.

People, I've been following the Police since 1979 and I work with them; what YOU don't understand is that when you do an interview on tv, you have to let the viewers know the whole story...you know it, but you're not the only ones on earth...15 years old guys don't know the whole story probably....it's not too difficult to understand. It's not a personal conversation.

basta riascoltare il video.
