being a bio major would you say the aphogee two minute and two step treatment are as helpful for people with natural hair? do we require the same amounts of protein as those who have chemically treated hair? just wondering?

Hey kaylaknot!

I would say that the 2 step is helpful for all course hair types. I think that if your hair is chemically treated you would most likely need it more than someone who has natural hair, simply because of damage that chemicals can cause to the hair. But if you want to get strength back in your hair and reduce shedding the 2 step is def the way to go. I hope that answers your question and thanx for checkin out the vid 8)

DARN, every wig you wear looks fabulous on you and very natural! I use the Aphogee products as well and my hair really has responded in a major way. I have natually curly thick mixed race hair and boy does it get woofy and poofy. Since using the Aphogee it really tamed it and it's back to being strong and healthy and I have no relaxer! I follow Ateya's treatment exactly as you stated here and it DEFINITELY works IF the person does the process exactly by the directions precisely! Great video!

Hey abee08! I use my balancing moisturizer ALL the time, whether im doing the protein treatment or a regular shampoo, just because i think its the best conditioner i have ever come across in my life. I hope that answers ur question and thanx for commenting :)

Hey LuvHotcOco! I wouldn't actually consider it a "moisturizing" shampoo. I think that it provides a lot of protein for your hair because honestly when ur done with it alone your hair will not be soft. But the balancing conditioner is by far the best conditioner i have ever used in my entire life! It could help hair that is in the worst situations and leaves ur hair super silky, soft, and manageable. Hope that helps...thanx for commenting :)

I have the aphogee products I must admit the texture of my hair felt amazing I have a naturally soft texture but it advanced it...did you experience any slight breakage in the beginning??? And do you know of any products that produce fuller hair?

Actually in the beginning i probably did have a little breakage for a week or so but nothing bad. besides aphogee (which ive been sticking to faithfully)maybe you could check out the pantene collection for women of color. i used to use that a lot, really good stuff! My hair had broken off so bad i wanted to cry but after using aph. for the last 4 months my hair has come a LONG way gurl. I love all the strength the protein from aphogee has given my hair. i hope that answers ur question. Thanks!

p.s I loved pump it up it"s old school it did tend to make my hair crispy and flaxy but when I wanted lasting hold I surely did use it,I also like their deep conditioner. I read that that"s a myth,hair getting use to a shamp& conditioner,that it"s that the conditioner is not being rinsed out completely,I will send you the info and source,now adays you hear tons of stuff.

I think wigs get a bad wrap (bad reputation).Hair is an adornment an acessory,and acessories should be changed often not matter race wigs are portaryed as for only blk women and that it"s a bad thing,and it"s funny because in Hollwood eveyones hair is a weave,extensions,or a wig.I own and use all myself.I thank you and ateyya for making wigs lookk good and what they are a classy way to switch things up and protect.
