Oh, I don't know why this seems so familiar to me then. I am a big Castlevania fan and this sounds similar to something from Castlevania, I guess the music is just sort of fitting to castlevania.

If you're interested in the music, perhaps you should check out some of Malice Mizer's other songs. Quite a few of their songs are even more fitting to castlevania than this one. Particularly their later stuff before they disbanded.

Honestly, the fact that I liked so many of their songs is why they still stand out to me as a group several years after they have disbanded. I can't point out anything that is specifically awesomer than everything, but I can point out that their last full album, 薔薇の聖堂 (Bara no Seidou), had the most "dark" songs that would be similar to Michiru Yamane's style. However, outside of that, I would check out "Illuminati."
